How to create an eBay affiliate link
Copy the address of any eBay page you want to share — a listing, a search, a seller’s store — from any eBay marketplace. Paste it into the generator above, add the campaign ID from your eBay Partner Network account, and copy the result. That’s the whole workflow: the link keeps the original destination and simply carries the tracking parameters EPN needs to credit you when someone clicks and buys.
The optional custom ID is a free-text tag (EPN calls it customid) that shows up in your EPN reports per click. Use it to tell placements apart — one tag per video, post, or newsletter — so you can see which content actually converts.
What a valid eBay affiliate link needs
A working EPN tracking link is the original eBay URL plus five query parameters. mkevt=1 marks the visit as a click event — without it the click never registers, no matter what else is set. mkcid=1 identifies the EPN channel. campid is your own campaign ID, the piece that routes the commission to you. toolid identifies the tool that built the link. And mkrid is the rotation ID — a value that is different for every eBay marketplace.
The rotation ID is what most hand-built links get wrong: the value for ebay.com does not attribute correctly on ebay.co.uk or ebay.de. This generator reads the marketplace from the domain of the URL you paste and sets the matching rotation ID automatically, so links for any of eBay’s international sites come out right.
